Act as a responsible expert for wash unit (front and rear tubs) development in implementation projects for HA washing machines following the System Development Process.
Support the lead engineer for wash unit development in new initiatives and projects.
Create and analyze CAD models 3D and drawings in Creo.
Validate tubs mechanical strength and other important characteristics of the wash unit with Simulations, supported by simulation-based design team.
Collaborate with procurement, suppliers, manufacturing and factories for technical questions and reviews
Own the subsystem test plan and manage timely execution through lab requests and test reports in collaboration with the mechanical lab and product approval labs; support system specifications and manufacturability
Work with subsystem team (drive system, suspension, entrance etc.), involve engineers from local developments integrating into project work.
Be responsible to deliver on time with agreed quality and cost targets.
Support and drive cost reduction programs
Support understanding of physics and key design trade-offs to close knowledge gaps related to the wash process, contribute to system modeling for key product attributes, e.g. for energy consumption, wash performance, wrinkles.
University Degree in Mechanical
Relevant experience in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
CAD Skills in Creo: part & advanced part modeling, assembly & advanced assembly, assembly management, surface & advanced surface modeling.
Experience in plastic injection molding processes and tooling.
Hands-on experience with Simulation Tools (FEA analysis: Ansys)
Six Sigma Black Belt knowledge would be an asset.
Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data and test reports.
Strong attitude to problem solving and critical thinking, proactive behavior and capability to respect work commitment and deadlines.
Fluency in English is a must.
